Lightly Fried Asparagus with Cashew Nuts




Ingredients:
  • 1 lb fresh asparagus spears
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped cashews
  • onion
  • garlic, minced

Method:

  1. In the skillet, melt butter and saute onion and garlic. Add asparagus to it. Constantly stirring the asparagus so all sides is cook.
  2. Add pepper, salt and chopped cashews if asparagus is tender already. If you like the asparagus crispy, then you can add the remaining ingredients right away.
