Whole Wheat Banana Bread Recipe






Ingredients:

2 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 3/4 cups sugar
2 cups mashed ripe bananas
1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
2/3 cup vegetable oil
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
4 eggs

Procedure:

1. Heat oven to 350F.
2. Grease loaf pan( 9x5-inch) with shortening or cooking spray.
3. In a large bowl, beat all ingredients on a low speed for 2 minutes. Make sure flours are blended with the ingredients.
4. Pour batter into the pan.
5. Bake for 65 minutes or until toothpick inserted halfway into the center is clear when it comes out.
6. Cool for 10 minutes, loosened the sides and remove from the pan.
7. Let it cool for 2 hours before slicing.
