Beef and Spinach Stir-Fry Recipe


Ingredients:
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into strips
  • 1/4 cup sweet and chilli sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sherry
  • 2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 big size white onion, cut into half then into strips
  • 1 lb English spinach, shredded
  • oil

Procedure:
  1. Marinate the steak with chilli sauce, garlic, ginger, soy sauce and sherry for at least 2 hrs or overnight.
  2. Drain the meat. Heat the wok and add 1 tablespoon oil. Stir-fry the meat until it is well browned, add more oil if necessary. Remove meat and set aside.
  3. Reheat the wok, add 1 tablespoon oil and stir-fry onion until tender. Return the meat to the wok.
  4. Toss the spinach and mix until spinach is just wilted.
  5. Serve immediately.
