- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into strips
- 1/4 cup sweet and chilli sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sherry
- 2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 big size white onion, cut into half then into strips
- 1 lb English spinach, shredded
- oil
Procedure:
- Marinate the steak with chilli sauce, garlic, ginger, soy sauce and sherry for at least 2 hrs or overnight.
- Drain the meat. Heat the wok and add 1 tablespoon oil. Stir-fry the meat until it is well browned, add more oil if necessary. Remove meat and set aside.
- Reheat the wok, add 1 tablespoon oil and stir-fry onion until tender. Return the meat to the wok.
- Toss the spinach and mix until spinach is just wilted.
- Serve immediately.
