Ingredients:
Meatballs
- 1 lb ground pork
- 3/4 cup bread crumbs ( i used Italian bread crumbs)
- 1/2 teaspoon powder garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Sauce
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/8 cup apple cider vinegar
- 3 teaspoons caster sugar
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 teaspoon white wine
- 2 teaspoon oyster sauce
- 1 1/2 teaspoon corn starch
- 4 tablespoon water
Procedure:
- Preheat oven to 400F( fry if oven is not available) and lightly grease baking sheet/pan.
- Mix all meatball ingredients and shape into 1" balls. Place them on the baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes. Set aside when done.
- Meanwhile, at a very low heat, mix soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, chicken broth, wine and oyster sauce. Bring to boil.
- Add baked meatballs into the sauce.
- In a bowl dissolve corn starch with water and then pour into the sauce.
- Stir mixture gently until sauce thickens and meatballs are coated completely with sauce.
- Serve as appetizer.
